[Liuguang Peach]
Source: A blend of Japanese Okayama white peaches and Malaysian Cameron Highlands peaches, extracted using supercritical CO2 technology to preserve the velvety, powdery texture of the peel.
Fragrance Narrative: Top notes evoke the sweet burst of juicy peach skin, while base notes blend with the verdant hues of banana leaves, simulating the dappled light of sunlight filtering through the leaves of a tropical orchard.
[Emerald Cold Apple]
Source: A hybrid of Korean Ulju cold-zone apples and Philippine high-mountain green apples, using Freeze-drying at -196°C with liquid nitrogen locks in the crisp texture of the apples.
Fragrance Narrative: The top note is the cool, dewy warmth of an apple orchard, while the heart notes hint at the subtle fragrance of cinnamon bark, paying homage to the history of the apple spice trade during Malacca’s colonial era.
[Amber Honeydew Melon]
Source: A grafted hybrid of Hokkaido’s Yubari honeydew melon and Johor’s sandy loam cantaloupe, using biomimetic enzymatic hydrolysis to restore the smooth texture of the fruit.
Fragrance Narrative: The top note offers the cool, sweet aroma of chilled honeydew melon, while the base notes carry the moist, moist texture of Sabah’s rainforest moss, creating a life-affirming dialogue between fruit and the land.
Designers say: “We sought to break the curse of cheap, cloying fruit aromas,” explains ARUMA’s Chief Perfumer, Pierre Lee. “The scent of Luminous Peach evokes the image of an orchard shrouded in the morning mist beneath Mount Fuji, while the mossy base of Amber Melon pays homage to the tropical rainforests that nourish the fruit.”
